John Kot
Originally born and raised in Weyburn, SK, John started working at the local car dealership at the age of 18. After gaining some experience, he moved to Edmonton, AB where he met his wife, and they started their family. While in Edmonton, John acquired over 25 years of experience in different executive and management positions with several large automotive dealerships. Always one to take advantage of an opportunity, John purchased Kelowna Hyundai in early 2011. Since than he has purchased Buy Direct Truck Center, Maple Ridge Hyundai, Penticton Nissan and now Genesis Kelowna. An avid sports enthusiast and family man, when John isn’t hard at work, he enjoys watching and playing hockey, and spending as much time as he can with his wife Trina, and their 4 children, Brandon, Jordan, Janessa, and Logan.
Sam Ghessesow
After graduating from College, Sam started in the automotive industry in 2001 in Alberta. After 13 years of established success in sales, finance, and management, for one of the largest automotive groups in Alberta, Sam moved to the beautiful Okanagan in September 2014 to become the General Manager of Kelowna Hyundai and now Genesis of Kelowna. Excited to be reunited with John, he is looking forward to taking these two franchises to new heights. A sports fanatic, Sam enjoys playing and watching basketball, football, and hockey.
